| scallop bunting for Curves Class |
Curves Class started yesterday with Scallop Bunting, an easy project to get us started sewing basic curves. I sew such wonky curves that I tend to avoid them, so by taking this class I'm hoping for lots of practice (you know the saying "practice makes perfect"), a few tips and to feel confident enough not to make a mess of this, which I intend on using this little lot for

Tomorrow is the Clamshell Pillow, with lots more planned for the next 5 weeks. I'll tell you more details about the class and the projects we will be making in the next few days.
Today's blog post could well be sponsored by Rachel at Stitched In Color (but it's not). I entered the Emerald (a mosaic contest) last week, and tonight I had an email from Susan asking if this was me..

It is! I'm a finalist - woo hoo!!
The winners are being chosen by vote, readers of Stitched In Color are being asked to vote for their favourite mosaic, the 2 mosaics with the highest number of votes win a half yard bundle of their chosen fabrics supplied by the Fat Quarter Shop.
So if you fancy voting for me (I'm Sarah.Duckegg *ahem!*) head on over here, voting closes midnight (eastern US time) on Friday 18th.
Thank you
Sarah xx
