I've decided to do both 2012's and 2013's, now I may be setting myself up for a fall, but I figure I can pick and choose between the two if I get overloaded, and as there is no time limit if I fall behind I can catch up whenever.
January's block is the Offset Log Cabin, easy peasy lemon squeezy. Bring on February's lesson!!!

My plan is to use as much of my modest stash as possible for the 2013 BOM, so by the end of the year this one - if it ever gets quilted - will be a 'feast for the eyes'. And I say if it ever gets quilted because I am treating this BOM as pure refresher/learning experience in block making, and possibly quilting.
Bringing me right back down to earth with a bang is one of the other BOM I'm taking part in, the Skill Builder hosted by Alyssa at Pile O'Fabric. This BOM is promising to be a goody, I'm expecting to learn so much from it, and I can't wait to get starting later this week.
I posted this picture last week

ReplyDeleteThe offset log cabin must be the 2013 Jan block, is there just one per month this year, it was 2 last year?? I still have the last 4 to do. I love that kona bundle, it really is beautiful, like I said before, and I'm with Erin, face smooshing required! : )
