...a tiny bit of making and lots of planning.

I finished the second pencil roll on Wednesday, I just need to wrap them now and they'll be sent off next week.
And planning....
Curves Class starts next week, I'm really looking forward to it. Week 1 projects are chosen and I'm ready to go, I'll share them next week.
I'm also taking part in Pile O'Fabric's Skill Builder BOM, starting next week too. I've had to do some 'serious shopping' for this one, I plan on keeping this quilt so it has to be in colours that we like and complements the colours in our home.
Alyssa suggested going to Design-Seeds.com for inspiration (a fantastic site, I lost myself for hours on Tuesday looking around!), now I'm a cool colours sort of girl so blue had to be involved somewhere, what do you think?

Now the Craftsy BOMs. Because they are free online classes I've decided to do both the 2012 and the new 2013. Maybe I'll dip in and out of each, I don't want to feel the pressure with these blocks. Although I've bought a pile of Bella this week with the 2012 BOM in mind.
So there you have it, a few days of planning and decision making. This weekend sees the start of the Blocks, or should I start something else on my list???

Lots of good stuff going on! That Pile of Fabric BOM tempted me too =)
ReplyDeleteLovely choices for the pile'o'fabric. It's going to be a gorgeous grown up quilt.

Cool and moody blues, great choice- can't wait to see how these look once you start block making. : ). x
ReplyDeleteyay - will be great to BOM along together! I had to do some serious shopping this week too, and still got the wadding & backing to go. Ouch! Just hoping that I love it at the end - Mr f&f is already getting frustrated with the number of quilts around here......maybe he won't notice *just* one more?! Love your colour scheme - are you going plain or solids? Sx
