There has been a shift in my priorities over the last month or so, which has resulted in a serious lack of sewing action hence the shortage of blog posts.
I have been so busy behind the scenes as I'm in the process of setting up my own small business - writing it down sounds very grand and ambitious - it is sewing related so I'm not disappearing of the face of the Earth. Why not attempt to make some money from doing something you love?
I started an online Marketing e-course at the end of January and it is fantastic, I cannot recommend it enough (I'll share more details of the course with you all in the coming weeks) such an eye opener and so inspirational. Right now my desk is a mass of notes, print outs and ring-binders instead of the usual fabric, craft books and Kona colour card. I've spent two days this week researching domain names, website building and e-commerce hosting site/thingamabobs??!! "Arhhhh, I don't do technology!"
Last Friday night I needed chocolate, and made these and took a photo to put on Instagram in the sunshine on Saturday.
|mmmm, smelt so good|
They were gone by Sunday, so much for the diet I'm meant to be on! Rest assured I did share and didn't eat them all myself....just the majority, "ahem"
I've also got on with the Skill Builder BOM blocks. Em Dash is done, (but I haven't taken a photo yet) and I'm on with The Mood, which I'll finish this weekend.
|The Mood planning|
I've been keeping up with blog reading and Flickr groups as a form of relaxation from "Shopify or Wordpress?" quandaries and homework, so I'm not totally out of the loop - excitement is building for FQ Retreat in July, whoop whoop!!!
Crikey!! I've just proof read through before posting, and it's all I, I've, I'm.....
